Do not use for lubrication of compressed oxygen, ammonia, chlorine, and other acidic gas air compressors.
According to the regulations for equipment oil, select oil with appropriate quality and viscosity levels; Storage containers must be dedicated, and during storage and transportation, they must be waterproof, moisture-proof, and prevent mechanical impurities from entering; Prevent foreign object contamination; Prevent mixing with other oil products.
On site maintenance personnel need to regularly check the lubricating oil level: when the compressor is unloaded, the lubricating oil level is around 1/5 of the window; When the compressor is loaded, the lubricating oil level is between 1/2 and 3/4 of the sight window. Too little lubricating oil can cause high exhaust temperature of the compressor, but too much can increase the consumption of lubricating oil, not only wasting lubricating oil, but also affecting the stable operation of the unit.
When the air filter element, sealing gasket, oil filter, oil and gas separator and other accessories cannot meet the usage requirements, they should be replaced in a timely manner, and the use of low-quality three filters is strictly prohibited. Replace spare parts on time and do not reuse them.
According to the air humidity conditions, the equipment should be regularly drained. Water and oil will form an emulsion, which will greatly reduce the adhesion of lubricating oil and is not conducive to the lubrication of the equipment.
The oil change cycle of screw air compressor oil depends on the quality of the inhaled air, working cycle, working environment, and equipment maintenance. If the environment is very harsh (such as high dust and humidity), it is recommended to shorten the oil change cycle appropriately.
